A Message from Pastor

COVID-19 Update

April 23, 2020

To the Congregation,

We are excited to announce that this Sunday we will begin “in-person” meetings again. This is pursuant to Governor Greg Abbott’s Executive Order No. GA 16 (April 17, 2020) and the most recent notification from the Texas Attorney General “Guidance for Houses of Worship During the COVID-19 Crisis” (April 21, 2020) which you can read about here, or you can read the direct notification here.

Following these guidelines our church will resume regular “in person” meetings this Sunday, April 26, 2020, with Worship Services at 9:30 & 11:15 AM and Prayer and Bible Study on Wednesday at 7:00 PM. If you are unable to attend, we encourage you to join us at 11:15 AM on Sunday for our “Livestream” Service and at 7 PM on Wednesday.

Guidelines we will follow for “In Person” services as recommended by the Government of Texas over Covid-19.

  1. Anyone who is running a fever or is sick are not to attend
  2. Members 65 and over, and those with underlying health issues that make them “at-risk” are welcome but should only attend after prayerful consideration
  3. Greeters (with mask and gloves) will open and close the doors for you.
  4. Social distancing requirements will be in effect. No hand-shakes or physical contact. Verbal greetings only.
  5. Face-coverings are required when entering and exiting the building, or moving about the building. Once you are seated you may remove them but not required. If you feel the need to cough, please replace your mask.
  6. Sanitize hands before entering the building. If using the bathrooms, wash your hands before and after.
  7. There will be no childcare or children’s programs (0-5th Grade) until the further notice. All children in attendance will need to remain with their parents. Parents with small children are welcome but are encouraged to sit near the back of the auditorium for easy exit if they become disruptive.
  8. All attendees are expected to sit with their own family or same-car occupants and will be separated by 6 feet from other families or individual units (those who come alone). If we reach auditorium capacity, attendees will be directed to one of our overflow rooms.
  9.  When the service is over, you will be instructed on how to safely exit the building. Those who stay behind should fellowship with each other from the appropriate distance.
  10. We will not be passing the offering plates during the service. They will be centrally located for your convenience.

In Christ,

Pastor Lamb
